- Authors
Coxe, B. Tench
- Abstract
An essay is presented regarding the portrait of urban space in the film "Lilja 4-Ever" and the role of the main protagonist of the film Lilja. It states that even though the story reflects the theme of prostitution the director, Lukas Moodysson, ensure that Oksana Akinsjina as Lilja is not exploited in the movie. It adds that the film reflects the choice of the main character to commit suicide rather than be enforced on more sexual slavery.
