- Abstract
The article focuses on the issue of program-related investments (PRIs) in the U.S. It mentions the F.B. Heron Foundation that works nationally to promote asset building and wealth creation for low-income people, families and communities in the country. It states the strategies of the foundation including enterprise development, job creation in low-income communities, affordable homeownership, and capital-access strategies. It adds that approximately eight percent of PRIs constitute the asset of the foundation as they are the best-performing assets in the foundations' portfolios.
