- Abstract
The article explores the fundamental problem in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission which is the excessive First Amendment rights of the U.S. Constitution bestowed upon organizations and unions. It reflects that shareholders, like union members, have First Amendment rights that are treated with contempt if corporations are given free control to engage in political speech.
