- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22 month-old-male with a diffuse, purpuric rash and profound thrombocytopenia. He was diagnosed with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and was treated with anti-RhD immunoglobulin (Ig)G. Anti-RhD antibody was removed using ethylenediaminetetraacetate glycine acid (EGA); and discusses the impact of RhD antibody administration on red blood cell (RBS).
