- Abstract
The article offers information on the Advancing Public Library Leadership (APLL) Institute, a two-year certificate program created by the Southern Ontario Library Service (SOLS), Agency of Ontario's Ministry of Tourism and Culture, for Ontario public library staff. The first group of 16 individuals from different public libraries graduated. The creation of a sense of community was found to be one of the most important experiences from the program. The APLL online courses are mentioned.
