- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 75-year-old woman who was suffering mild dysphagia for three years. She was diagnosed with cricopharyngeal dyshagia and underwent a surgical procedure using endoscopic cricopharyngeal myotomy (ECPM) with carbon dioxide laser together with laryngoscopy and videofluorography technique. The study concluded that ECPM show less invasive technique and lesser complication than classic transcervical cricopharyngeal myotomy (TCPM).
