- Abstract
Henry F. McFarland, MD, a renowned expert in multiple sclerosis (MS), passed away at the age of 83. He made significant contributions to MS research, particularly in the development of disease-modifying therapies. McFarland's work with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) helped to understand the progression of MS and led to the approval of numerous treatments.
