- Abstract
The article focuses on the study which examines the hepatic effects among workers who are exposed to ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate (EGEEA). After adjustment for potential confounders, no difference in hepatic dysfunction are found between exposed and comparison groups. A two-year follow-up study of the EGEEA-exposed workers shows no significant change in hepatic function. The results suggest that EGEEA is not a hepatotoxin in the workplace.
