- Title
A Nod from Jane Bryant Quinn...
- Abstract
The article profiles Jane Bryant Quinn, a columnist, who has supported the work of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners (CFP) Board in one of her columns. She lauded the CFP Board recently in one of her columns for its efforts to put more teeth into enforcing its code of ethics. She even went so far as to say that a "complaint to the CFP Board might lead to stronger sanctions" than those imposed by state securities offices or the NASD. Her column talked at length about the various ways the CFP Board is checking out planners before licensing them or renewing CFP licenses.
