- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the size-controlled ink particles' optical and paramagnetic properties from ink sacs of Sepia officinalis. It states that optical properties and nanostructure of the ink were analyzed using the atomic force microscopy and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. The results reveal that the standard heights of both small and large ink particles were 156nm and 5.3nm respectively. It suggests that the ink particles are suited for melanin-related researches.
