- Abstract
The article reports on the antihyperglycemic effect of polyphenols from Acerola fruit. Acerola fruit can be found in the region from Central America to Northern South America and is best known for its vitamin C and has become popular in people who are health-conscious. According to some studies, acerola fruit extract may have anticarcinogenic activity against lung cancer.
