- Abstract
The article focuses on the proposal to conserve the nomenclature of the flowering plants genus Crowella, against the fossil plant species of the Lauraceae family, Actinostrobites and Frenelites. It states that scientists E. Reid and M. Chandler have created a new genus of lauraceous affinity and has named it Crowella, on the basis of coniferalean remnants. It states about the genus Frenelites which includes the species F. recurvatus.
