- Abstract
The author reflects on an article which aimed at creating a new paradigm for transport planning and states that the article recommends it to planners, decision-makers and the public. He states that he was not agreed with the paradigm and discusses whether rational communication facilitates or cause desirable change in transportation. He concludes that people, planners and planning are not a compendium of rational words and linguistics and strong emotions are involved in bringing change.
