- Abstract
The article addresses the Annual Report and selected country reports of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights which it prepares a report from an on-site observation or information gathered outside the country. It describes the policy and procedure of the Inter-American Commission in preparing country reports. According to the author, the reports are created in accordance with an established format and they include a history of visit, and the legal framework of the nation. In addition, the reports emphasize the rights guaranteed in the American Convention on Human Rights and the American Declaration on the Rights and Duties of Man.
