- Abstract
Reports on a pug-nosed crocodyliform from the Late Cretaceous Period of Madagascar. How several morphological features of the crocodyliforms are thought to have varied only within narrow limits during the course of evolution; Specimen of a taxon that deviates from the Buaplan, possessing a blunt snout, rounded skull and multicusped teeth reminiscent of those of some ornithischian dinosaurs; Implication that the taxon may have been herbivorous; Support for the biogeographical hypothesis that Madagascar and South America were linked.
