- Abstract
This article discusses the opinion that the motion picture "Fahrenheit 451" by French director François Truffaut was a failure. This opinion of failure is discussed in the books "Finally Truffaut" by Don Allen and "François Truffaut" by Diana Holmes and Robert Ingram. Also presented in the article is a general review of the motion picture, which stars Oskar Werner, Julie Christie, and Cyril Cusak, with music by Bernard Hermann and cinematography by Nicholas Roeg.
