- Abstract
The article presents information on the study conducted a group of researchers from the University of Dundee, Scotland and the Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) in the science journal "Nature". The compound named DDD107498 is developed as a small molecule against the blood stage of the protozoan parasites, Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax. The pharmacokinetic properties and molecular target of DDD107498 is studied in mice and found effective and cheap.
