- Abstract
The article reflects on ethical issues related to civil engineering. The author states that numerous engineers seem to regard ethics as a set of rules and regulations made to prevent those they deem to be unprincipled from taking advantage of other people, however, people are said to be judgmental when they are engaged in discussions involving ethical behavior. He concludes that everyone should work towards eliminating unsound practices to fulfill the ethical obligations of a learned profession.
