- Abstract
The article reports on the digitization of a database on the works of Austrian composer Joseph Haydn by the Joseph Haydn-Institut in Cologne, Germany. It details the origins of the database, which was set up to catalog sources to assist with the proper attribution of compositions to Haydn in the 1950s, and its structure. It lists late 2012 as the likely date when the database will be available online, via the institute's website at http://www.haydn-institut.de.
