- Abstract
In order to select the reasonable operation mode which can greatly reduce the damage to the transformer when failures occur,this paper established the transformer operation simulation model through matlab,simulated the possible operation modes by changing the opening and closing state of the circuit breaker,so as to select the reliable operation modes of the transformer. By setting two phase short circuit fault in different locations,main transformer high voltage side uses the parallel operation mode,low voltage side separately using he parallel operation mode and the splitting operation mode,to simulate transformer line current II period of protection and over - current protection as far distance protection,and to research on the influence of the low voltage side of transformer under the two kinds of operation modes of system operation on system relay protection,so as to give the principle of selecting reliable operation mode for transformers.
