The article presents a study on timed artificial insemination (TAI) in beef and dairy cattle. The topics discussed include physiology and endocrinology of the estrous cycle in the animals, manipulation of ovarian physiology for TAI, and synchronization of follicle growth, corpus luteum regression and ovulation in the animals.
