Affective Lability: A Clue to Maladaptive Behavior.
- Abstract
The article discusses the study that focused on the role played by affective lability in maladaptive behaviors on female patients with bulimia nervosa (BN) in 2009. It states that the result of the study indicates that women who are diagnosed with BN, wherein they also experienced other impulsive behavior showed high level of labile emotions. It concluded that the women, who experienced impulsive behaviors, were also diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.
