- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 42-year-old white female with psoriasis. It is noted that psoriasis is a multi-systemic chronic inflammatory disease that affects about 1.5-3% of the general population. The article adds that the patient was treated with secukinumab, a human monoclonal antibody that selectively neutralizes interleukin-17 A and also helps in reducing plasma oxidative stress in the patients.
