- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 55-year-old Chinese woman, who had a two-year history of immunoglobulin G (IgG) multiple myeloma. She underwent 4-weekly cycles of treatment with dexamethasone, zoledronic acid, and thalidomide. After the initial treatment, she was given with proteasome inhibitor bortezomib for seven cycles. The article adds that despite the limited early response of the patient to myeloma salvage therapy, a progressive resolution was found on her cutaneous spicules.
