- Abstract
The article offers news briefs on public health worldwide. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommended the use of the malaria vaccine among children in sub-Saharan Africa and other regions. Also cited are WHO's support of the use of monoclonal antibodies casirivimab and imdevimab as treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and the program launched by WHO to bolster COVID-19 vaccination rates.
