- Abstract
The article explores the impact of remote reprogramming on the alert burden of insertable cardiac monitors (ICM), specifically focusing on the Medtronic LINQ II implant. The study, conducted by Seiler et al., indicates that the ability to reprogram alerts remotely was associated with significant time-savings, reduced device alerts, and potential efficiency improvements in device clinics, emphasizing the promising role of remote programming in enhancing patient care.
