- Abstract
The article examines the career of former U.S. president Richard M. Nixon, his relationship with the Jews and with the Israelites including Golda Meir. It also describes Nixon's Library and Birthplace which gives tribute to the Nixon's stormy life as America's 37th president. It says that the library may be perceived as a homage to Golda Meir and other Semitic leaders since it contains a bronze, life-sized statue of Meir talking with Anwar Sadat. The library is a testament of Nixon's presidential achievements which include his Middle East policy in the19 60s and 1970s, his role during the Yom Kippur War and his order to airlift arms to Israel in 1973.
