- Abstract
The rich written heritage created by the Gregorian Qypchaq community dwelling in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldovia, Crimea, etc., especially in the cities of Lvov, Kamenets-Podolsk, and Lutsk in XVI-XVIIth Centuries was written between 1521 and 1669 in the Armenian alphabet but the Qypchaq language. These Qypchaq texts written in the Armenian alphabet are called, deliberately or indeliberately, Armenian-Qypchaq, Armenian-Qypchaq Monuments, or Written Monuments of Armenian-Qypchaq Languages in the scientific literature, and the community that created these works are called Armenian Qypchaqs, Qypchaq speaking Armenians, or Turkish speaking Armenians. In the article, various examples will be given from the Turkish history, Turkish literature history and written works, thus an answer will be sought to the question whether the community that created those texts written in the Armenian alphabet were Turkish speaking Armenians or Qypchaqs/Turks that joined the Gregorian sect of Christianity?
