- Abstract
Her contributions to coronary artery disease (CAD) genetics and sex and gender health research are greatly missed. As a Ph.D. student, I studied the functional analysis of GWAS hits PHACTR1 and CYP17A1.[6],[7] Guided by Jeanette, I collaborated with various groups and consortia, including Leducq Foundation-sponsored networks (PlaqOmics and AtheroGEN). Jeanette Erdmann, a distinguished professor at the Institute for Cardiogenetics, Universität zu Lübeck, and closely associated with the German Centre for Cardiovascular Research, Partner Site Hamburg/Kiel/Lübeck, passed away.
