- Abstract
The article discusses Internet of Things: Privacy and Security in a Connected World workshop hosted by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) held on November 19, 2013. Topics of the panel discussions are mentioned which include connected devices at home, connected medical devices and health and fitness products, and vehicle telematics. Also discussed are the benefits as well as the security and privacy risks of IoT, data minimization, and consumer notice and choice.
