- Abstract
The article presents a study which seeks to identify clinical features and causes of recurrent benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). It says that based on the clinical records of 120 patients that were reviewed, the cause of their BPPV is idiopathic while the secondary cause is trauma. It says that the results showed resolution of vertigo and nystagmus. It concludes that BPPV could be treated with repeated canalith repositioning procedures (CRPs) that should be more frequent.
