- Abstract
The article examines the effectiveness of mitral valve surgery (MVS) in mitral valve replacement due to various diseases. Information about the common surgical approach median sternotomy for heart surgery allowing central arterial and venous cannulation for cardiopulmonary bypass, is provided. Also mentioned is the impact of minimally invasive most common minimally invasive (MIMVS) MVS approach for low mortality cases and excellent outcome in postoperative.
