- Abstract
Chitosan was prepared by alkaline process extracted from mycelia of Trichiderma seudokoningii in this paper. Through optimization experiments, the effects of alkaline concentration and reaction time on the degree of deacetylation, yield and molecular weight of the chitosan product were studied. The results showed that with the increase of base concentration and reaction time, productivity trend presented to come down after rose first in some areas, while the deacetylation was always increased. When the concentration of alkaline was the same, molecular weight of the chitosan product increased first and then declined with the reaction time extension. The yield of chitosan was 14.4% of the dry weight of mycelia with a purity of 90.2% and a deacetylation of 95.2%.
