The article presents a study concerning on carbon nanotubes in cancer therapy. The researchers examined the carbon cathode used in the arc-discharge process for the production of fullerenes which resulted in the historical discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Furthermore, the researchers elaborated the potential use of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) in treating several types of cancers with minimal and no toxic effects to normal cells.
