- Abstract
The article looks at the role of physician credibility in health care marketing. According to the article, physicians can build their credibility in their communities by becoming an authority in their area of expertise, writing health-related publications, participating in professional and nonprofessional organizations, and giving public presentations related to their practice. The article discusses word-of-mouth marketing and the author's experience working with an obstetrics/gynecology group that held monthly talks for expecting women and couples.
