- Abstract
The article "Amendment to the ZMediatAusbV adopted" reports on the second amendment to the Certified Mediators Training Regulation (ZMediatAusbV). The following changes will come into effect from March 1, 2024: The practical cases and supervisions will be brought forward in time and integrated into the training. The training institutes will be involved in the certification process and must certify participation in a corresponding training. In addition, the proportion of online formats will be increased to 40% of the minimum training hours, and the catalog of learning content will be expanded to include digital competence and competence in conducting online mediations. Mediators who have completed their training before March 1, 2024, may continue to refer to themselves as "certified" if they fulfill the continuing education requirements.
