- Title
Schlechte Noten für die Rechts- und Konfliktkultur in Deutschland.
- Abstract
The ROLAND Legal Report for 2022 presents a critical evaluation of the legal and conflict culture in Germany. Although 69 percent of citizens trust the judiciary, there is significant dissatisfaction with the duration of proceedings. The use of courts has decreased, and many citizens would not file a lawsuit due to the effort and financial risk involved. The importance of legal expenses insurance has increased, and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation are viewed with skepticism. The Conciliation Board for Public Transport (söp) criticizes commercial service providers who abuse consumer arbitration.
