- Abstract
The article explores aspects of semiconductor-related technologies in the U.S. It mentions the possibilities that might affect the future electricity demand. It concludes that semiconductor can increase the energy productivity with the right set of market-based policies and incentives. Also presented is the findings of the study by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) concerning energy consumption in 2009.
