- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 5-year, 3-month-old boy who suffered from pericarditis caused by morganella morganii accompanied with recurrent bacterial infections whose chest radiography showed cardiomegaly. The boy was diagnosed with X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA) and was administered with intravenous immunoglobulins at four weeks interval. It discusses the importance of the early diagnosis and initiation of therapy in XLA and many immunodeficiency diseases.
