- Abstract
The health care relationship, like other human relationships, is for people involved in it, in the present case -user and social worker- the inevitable experience of separation. This moment is not easy because it has lost to both and of impossible for the professional continuing a process begun on that somehow "lost control". Consider this point from the beginning of the care process is essential and, in my opinion, the way they do will be decisive to terminate the work, whatever level of intervention from which they work and how which form the closing or if the shunt. We find that the link-separation process inherent in the relationship of care-user and social worker has a strong parallel with the child-self-dependent development and has to do to get separated from their parents or care figures and achieve autonomy and progressive contributions to enable it to manage your life in a competent. Reflecting this is appropriate to the social practice if we consider the work object in social work -the social/relational- and the subject recipient of it -the vulnerable person with social difficulties, the dependent.
