- Abstract
The author reflects on the 2012 appeal for a Scottish murder prosecution from Ian Geddes' 2005 conviction for the murder of his cousin, Charles McKay in a Scottish High Court of Justiciary case 'Geddes v Her Majesty's Advocate.' Topics discussed include use of new evidence from a neuropathologist argument that McKay's death was due to head injuries, court's emphasis on the expert evidence, and prosecution experts' response to the fresh evidence.
