- Abstract
Describes a case of hemorrhagic nonsecreting pituitary adenoma associated with persistent primitive trigeminal artery. Claim that numerous anomalies of the carotid artery can potentially complicate transsphenoidal pituitary surgery; Suggestion that magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, MR angiography or three-dimensional computed tomography should be performed pre-operatively to avoid complications during surgery.
