Fire at INEOS Köln.
- Abstract
The article provides information on the fire occurred at Ineos plant in Dormagen, Germany at about 14:30 hours on March 17, 2008. It is stated that an expelling of ethylene from the primary pipeline that feeds the plant inflamed causing a fire at the facility. In addition, a stock tank near the first incident also caught fire. About 600 firefighters assisted in and around the plant with an extra 600 members of the emergency services in support. Moreover , the fire on the acrylonitrile stock tank was took under control at 23:50 that evening.
