- Abstract
This article has the objective of reflecting on the tourist potential from a regional point of view from the years of IPHAN (through the immaterial heritage registry), from the National Institute of Industrial Property - INPI (through the concession of geographical indications) and of the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture UNESCO (through the granting of the title of Creative Cities of Gastronomy). It was developed from a narrative bibliographic review and information search on the websites of the entities addressed: IPHAN, INPI and UNESCO. After the survey of two data and its systematization by region, it was possible to verify the variety of formally recognized products and cultural benefits, allowing to glimpse a significant tourist potential, facing the different uses (tourist attraction, souvenir,...) that this heritage can gain.
