- Abstract
A recent article in the journal Zoological Research discusses the advancement of neuroscience through real-time processing of big data. The traditional open-loop paradigm in neuroscience research is being transitioned to a closed-loop paradigm, allowing for the detection and testing of functional ensembles in real time. The article describes a real-time analysis system capable of processing large-scale neuronal imaging data and applying feedback signals within 70 milliseconds. This system has demonstrated its applicability in various closed-loop neuroscientific research scenarios and has the potential to revolutionize current paradigms in neuroscience research.
