- Abstract
In recent years, the application of the whole life cycle management in long-distance pipelines becomes popular. The digital and intelligent pipeline construction and the electronic filing and electronic document management of construction projects by the state have continuous development. The requirements for engineering construction archive management have become increasingly stringent. By sorting out and analyzing the current situation of the engineering archive management industry for long-distance pipeline construction projects and its unique characteristics, some shortcomings have been summarized, including uneven archive quality of participating units, lack of a unified electronic archiving platform for the project, and low level of electronic archiving. On the basis of fully combining the concept of whole life cycle management of long-distance pipelines and the theoretical research on the life cycle of archives, specific measures and countermeasures have been taken, such as establishing and improving the engineering archive and completion data management system, promoting and implementing engineering archive management simultaneously with construction management, strengthening research and application of archive information technology, and innovating the internal acceptance model for engineering archives. This study provides a reference for other long-distance pipeline construction projects to solve similar problems.
