- Abstract
The article reports on the case of a 71-year old woman who had lupus erythematosus tumidus (LET) after receiving bortezomib. The skin lesion were reduced after the administration of topical corticosteroids and hydroxychloroquine sulfate. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) was ruled out due to lack of fever, arthralgia, myalgia, autoimmune disease and negative laboratory findings. The authors said that bortezomib-induced LET is caused by inhibition of nuclear factor κB.
