The article explores the challenges faced by Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) in athletic training, emphasizing the need for increased representation and support in research. Topics include personal experiences of BIPOC individuals in the field, calls for action to recruit and retain BIPOC athletic training researchers, and actionable ways to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in athletic training research.
