- Authors
Ohad, D.
- Abstract
The article presents the electrocardiography (ECG) of a 4-year old spayed Boxer dog with a history of syncope related to excitement and exertion, and its electrocardiographic diagnosis based on the ECG strip. The author provides insight on the important steps in analyzing the ECG strip, which is to determine if the cardiac rate is normal, too fast, or too slow. The author also notes the two theoretical possibilities in interpreting the positive deflection when considering differential diagnosis.
