- Abstract
The article presents a study on the analysis of glycolysis pathway and energy generation in diminazene aceturate (DA)-resistant Babesia gibsoni isolate in vitro. It was found out that the concentration of glucose and intracellular adenosine triphosphae (ATP) were significantly higher than in the wild-type. Whereas, pyruvate, lactate, and the activities of pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase were the same as those with the wild-type.
